What is Detty December?

“Detty December” is that electric time of year when Lagos becomes the entertainment capital of Africa. It’s when Nigerians at home and abroad, the “IJGBs” (“I Just Got Backs”)  flood the city for concerts, beach parties, weddings, and non-stop nightlife. Lagos doesn’t just celebrate December; it owns it.
And this year, you’ll live it in full color, Afrobeat music, wine toasts, cultural heritage, and pure holiday magic.

And this time, you’ll also celebrate Christmas in true Lagos style — plenty Jollof, Chicken, Afrobeat rhythms, palm wine toasts, and unforgettable vibes.
